Rushmon Homes brought a bit of razzmatazz to Reigate recently  for the launch of its new show apartment at Prospects in Holmesdale Road. About 50 prospective customers were enticed in by balloons, a buffet and refreshments, but more importantly, to inspect the stunning new show apartment.

The apartment has been created by Chris Maidwell at interior designers Inside Right. Chris, taking as his inspiration the taste of a 30-something, affluent and fashionable buyer, has dreamed up a bold contemporary look – white paired with some striking strong accent colours. As well as making good use of the classic contrast of black and white, his scheme incorporates rich colours like turquoise and aubergine. Both the living room and master bedroom have a very fashionable ‘feature wall’ covered with dramatically patterned wallpaper, emphasising the apartment’s light, spacious qualities.

Even before the arrival of the show apartment, Prospects had created quite a stir, and 11 of the 16 apartments currently available have now been sold – almost 70%. All are two bedroom homes with modern open-plan kitchen/living rooms, each slightly different in layout. The high-tech, stylish specification includes fully fitted, custom designed kitchens with integrated appliances. Bathrooms are in classic white with chrome fittings, and the apartments also have the rather unusual feature of under floor heating, which makes for much greater flexibility when it comes to arranging the rooms.

Prospects has a very central position in the affluent Surrey town of Reigate, close to the station and high street restaurants and shops. The location is obviously a big attraction, and at the moment there are further temptations for buyers in the form of an incentive package that includes stamp duty paid, £750 towards legal fees and fitted carpets.
