Show House to Open Saturday 11 June 2005 at Rushmon Homes' Abbey Mews Deverlopment next to Syon Park In Isleworth
29th May, 2005

A furnished 3-bedroom show house is set to open at Rushmon Homes’ Abbey Mews development of mews style townhouses and apartments at 10am on Saturday 11 June.

Abbey Mews is a new development of six, 3-bedroom townnhouses and just six apartments, set in a gated scheme at London Road in Isleworth, approximately a quarter of a mile from the banks of the River Thames. The development borders the 200 acres of parkland at Syon Park, the London home of the Duke of Northumberland’s family for over four hundred years. The design has sought to respect the area context by responding to the neighbouring urban grain, with the use of different types of brick providing a strong visual focus. To respect the historic setting the architecture of the apartment building and townhouses gives a contemporary slant on the Georgian style. The 3-bedroom, 3-storey mews style townhouses are priced from £479,950.

Alan Taylor, Sales & Marketing Director of Rushmon Homes said: “Abbey Mews has provided us with the oppurtunity to create a scheme within a secure environment that’s great for people who want to be close to area of open parkland, the River Thames, and the centre of Isleworth for its shops and restaurants. Syon Lane railway station is within walking distance from Abbey Mews, which is great from a communiting perspective, as regular trains run during the rush hour to London Waterloo with journey times of only 30 minutes. All apartments have now been reserved and we’re sure once the show house is open the townhouses will be snapped up very quickly”.

With a number of schools in the area the location is ideal for families with school age children. There’s also plenty to do at weekends and during the school holidays as Syon House has an Aquatic Centre and the open spaces of Osterley Park, Richmond Park and the Old Deer Park are all within easy reach. Residents will be only a quarter of a mile from the Thames towpaths for long scenic walks and there are a number of golf, sports and fitness clubs in the area.

John Manser of Iselworth Estate Agents Young & Manser, said: “The development has started well with reservations on all the apartments. With the advent of the show house on the 11 June the public will benefit from being able to appreciate the high building standards of Rushmon Homes and the exclusive location of the houses”.
