Spacious Apartments and Deposit Paid for the First Time Buyers at Rushmon New Homes Wentworth Place in Camberley
30th March, 2005
Recognising that first time buyers often need a helping hand to gain a foothold on the property ladder, Rushmon New Homes is offering to pay their deposit of 5%, the 1% stamp duty and their legal fees up to £750 for an initial reservation fee of just £99.
The offer is availbale on selected apartments at Rushmon’s Wentworth Place development of 20, 1 bedroom apartments at Vale Road, Camberley. Apartments range in price from £149,950 to £166,500; a designated parking space is included in the price. Purchasers using the incentives available on an apartment priced at £149,950 will save themselves £9,747.
Alan Taylor, Sales & Marketing Director of Rushmon New Homes, said: “Wentworth Place is providing hugely poular, with a quarter of the apartments reserved within 3 weeks of the launch. The deposit paid offer is perfect for first time buyers, who though in full time empployment find it impossible to save for a deposit and are forced to remain in rented accomodation. Using the shcheme they will be able to buy a home of their own rather than waiting. It also helps to make the transition on moving from tenant to homeowner as painless as possible.
“As the show apartment is not scheduled to open until the end of May the apartments are being sold ‘off plan’. Competition for the best new homes is often fierce and as a result, purchasing early – often when construction has only just begun – is becoming increasingly popular.
“off-plan buying means that prospective purchasers view plans and specifications of the apartments rather than seeing the finished product. The price of a home stays the same from reservation to completion, which can mean by the time purchasers move into their apartment they have often seen an increase on the value of their property”.
Apartments at the 3-storey development are spacious and have been carefully designed for a contemporary lifestyle, with the kitchen only partly shielded from the living/dining room to allow for relaxed entertaining. Residents will have access to shared gardens and for privacy trees and hedges will form a green buffer around most of the development.
Residents will be a few minutes walk from Camberley’s shopping area, restaurants, bars and pubs. The area is popular with commuters to London. Camberley mainline railway station is less than 1 mile away, where there are regular services during the rush hour to London Waterloo, with journey times of around 1 hour and 10 minutes.
